Our Easy Step by Step Guide on How To Divert Your Calls to Call Catchers
Our engineers will allocate a unique telephone number to your business, which is the number you will need to divert your phones to.
You can divert as many landline or mobile phones to this number as you wish, and all will be answered as per your instructions.
You can also terminate non-geographic (08, 03, etc.,) numbers onto your allocated number. Just let your 08 number provider know your new Call Catchers number, and we’ll be receiving your calls in no time!
Once our engineers have allocated your company it’s own telephone number, we will email you the number, along with full divert instructions. In case you misplace them, here’s a reminder:
Landline:
Speak with your telecoms provider and ask them to activate ‘Call Divert’ on your landline (BT and Virgin customers phone 150. This will incur a small charge of £1.75 per month)
Once activated, you will will need to type a code into your phone to activate the diversion:
To divert all calls *21*number you’ve been allocated#
To take off divert #21#
To divert calls when busy / engaged *67*number you’ve been allocated#
To take off divert #67#
To divert calls on no answer *61*number you’ve been allocated#
To take off divert #61#
Mobile:
Go to settings, then divert, then type in the number you’ve been allocated
Go to settings, then divert, then ‘cancel’ diversion
Non-Geographic Numbers: You should contact your number provider and ask them to terminate your non-geographic number onto the number you’ve been allocated by Call Catchers.
